I’ve been a semi-professional photographer for around 10 years, picking up my love of photography while living in London and travelling around Europe. Since starting a family I have discovered a love of portraits – capturing changes in my children that on a day to day basis I sometimes miss, but looking at photographs I can see them and their personalities changing over time – precious memories that fade a little in the mind, but are now always there to remember.
As a freelance photographer, while living in the United Kingdom, I’ve covered the London Marathon and Red Bull Air Race for stock photography agencies – those images have appeared in marketing and media all over the world. And in New Zealand, my Massey University Naked Vet Student 2010 calendar got coverage on TV One’s Breakfast show (from 2.10 minutes in – Paul Henry took a bit of a liking to some of our models I think!), and also a writeup in the Dominion Post.
I am available to shoot location portraits, events, product images, and more formal portraits/head shots at your location with a portable mini-studio. I am in the process of designing a full home studio to expand my services (watch this space!).
I have a selection of Stock Imagery available on shutterstock / istockphoto / dreamstime.
